The building is situated at the heart of an area that is evolving rapidly. In a few years from now, the new Cloche d’Or district in the Ban de Gasperich neighbourhood will be completed, and its numerous private homes, offices and businesses (the Auchan shopping centre) will be a hive of activity at all times of the day.
Closer to Well 22, several sites that are currently occupied by large halls and tertiary activities will soon make way for other new buildings that will likewise host a mixture of housing, new offices and businesses. Numerous roads are already being built, offering easy access from the motorway and a more direct link to the Cloche d’Or district. And finally, Howald also has a new suburban railway station and a tram will stop here on the corner of the road by 2023.

The site, which is situated 4 km to the south of the city of Luxembourg, is easily accessible from all three borders by motorway: 18 minutes from Belgium, 10 minutes from France, 30 minutes from Germany and just 12 minutes from Luxembourg airport.
Well 22 was conceived and designed to seamlessly blend in with the district and other building projects that are in progress or planned, in particular in terms of its amenities and transport infrastructure, with a view to facilitating the daily lives of the people using the building.
